Get the most out of PLAY, and use this function to save your most useful tracks, share them with colleagues, and build reports from your projects.

As you find and audition potentially useful tracks, save them to a Project by using the symbol. You might be searching for one track, and building a list of potentials; you might want to keep a folder of interesting tracks for future reference. Editors often save tracks used into projects by scenes or episodes, in order to share with their producers for logging.

To share with a colleague you need to know their PLAY Login ID, then simply Share a Project with them, and they will be notified by email with a link directly to your project.

Take your projects to the next level by converting the details into an exportable report. All usages of the music herein is copyrighted and needs to be licensed once used. This facility helps reduce the repetition of logging tracks used.

We are talking with rights administrators in various countries about facilitating direct links through PLAY to their online systems. Meanwhile, you can add tracks which you found outside PLAY, add pertinent production credits and contact information, and of course adjust durations of tracks used as appropriate.

This is your system... we do all the hard work categorising the music for you, but you now have the capacity here to add your own notes.

If you enjoy the short cut search via the Keyword Suggester, you can now add your own Keywords to the list. Or if you want to, write a note about a track. Eg: “This will work for our next motor sport documentary”.
